Extensive considerations and control measures were implemented has there was the busiest highway within 10m of one of the high-rise blocks, which could not be closed at any point. This required designed scaffold pedestrian walkways, debris fans and roadside protection. A live substation adjoined one of the blocks which required substantial scaffold protection. Special care had to be taken not to disturb critical fibre optic cabling which run under the site.

98% of all waste arisings were recycled and avoided landfill.

The project was delivered 4 weeks early, under the £1.4 million pound budget, and without any incidents.
